Unfortunately, I can’t come up with a creative or witty title at the moment.
Anyhow, first things first…
Merry Christmas to all! I hope you have a safe, relaxing holiday filled with family, friends and good cheer!
Anyhow…How am I creative?
Damn, that’s a tough one, because I don’t consider myself overly creative. I guess one could say I chase creativity. Whether I catch it or not is a subject for debate.
So, how do I chase it? Well, I play guitar when I have the chance. I write poems and short stories. And I guess one could say I’ve been chasing it yet again with the start of this blog.
The only other thing I consider creative is in my work. In my previous job, we often faced multiple setbacks due to supply chain issues, staffing challenges and aging equipment. Due to those factors we would often have to turn on a dime to find a plan B, C or D.
While fighting constant fires was frustrating, it also taught me to think outside the box as quickly as possible to keep things going and to keep from sending people home. Through sheer repetition, I actually got pretty good at it.
I don’t know that I have ever found that perfect creative outlet, but as they say, the journey is what truly matters.
Creativity can be fickle, but I keep chasing her anyhow!
