Sometimes we forget

While this entry will be included with next week’s No Theme Thursday submissions, after reading it, I was moved to reblog it now.

Aasthawrites at Literary Evaluation Blog wrote a very touching and poignant letter to her mom, and it made me take pause for more than a moment to reflect.

So oftentimes we get caught up in our everyday lives, our dramas and our hangups that we forget who and what is truly important in life.

If you haven’t taken the time to do so today, take a moment to be grateful for those people in your life who love and support you unconditionally. The ones who would follow you to the gates of Hell and back without need for explanation.

Sometimes we forget.

Thank you, aasthawrites for reminding us. πŸ™πŸ™

I think your letter spoke for a lot of us who have felt a loss. I know it touched me very deeply.
