Daily writing prompt
You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?
Well, not those guys. Maybe later. 😉
The assumption here is my kid would already know, so first thing I am probably going to do is call my mom.
And yes, I’m on a Spidey kick again today.
My mom, because she’s always supported me and loves to hear when things are going well for me.
After that, I’d probably call or text my best friend, since she too has been one of my biggest supporters and always picked me up when I was down.
And if the news is really that great, I am probably going to want to get together with one or more of my buddies to celebrate.
After that, I might take a few minutes to bask in the glory and then look for the next mountain to climb. When you’ve got momentum, keep it the hell going as long as possible.
