Happy Hump Day, everyone! We’ve once again reached the halfway point and it’s all downhill from here! I hope the week has treated everyone well thus far.
It’s time for our weekly wander through the silly images in my head and, of course, through the WordPress Multiverse. Last week, I posted links to a few pages that I follow and think y’all might enjoy. Folks seem to enjoy it, so I will be continuing to do this every Wednesday.
And I follow a lot of pages, so there will be plenty to post in the coming weeks.
I usually start with the images, but I am going to step aside, change it up, and give my fellow bloggers center stage. There’s a ton of talented folks round here, and y’all deserve the recognition.
Savvy Raj – A dance instructor, writer, freelance product designer, artist, writer and motivational speaker (I hope I didn’t miss anything lol), Savvy’s was one of the first pages I followed on WP. She never, ever fails to post a positive and uplifting message, and her commitment to making people’s day a little bit better is truly inspiring.
Beyond Pigment – Sophia joined the WP community right around the same time I did. We are fellow newbies! The cause nearest and dearest to Sophia’s heart is raising awareness around the misconceptions surrounding albinism. Her story is a touching one, and she truly is a beautiful soul who preaches not only against the misconceptions around albinism, but embracing ALL our differences, celebrating our uniqueness, and coexisting in peace.
Destiny’s Designz – Some of you may know Destiny already, as she participates in a number of challenges across WP. Her poetry contains a style, flow and grace all it’s own. The way she can capture a feeling or emotion in her writing is truly mesmerizing. There are very few who can pluck the feeling of a calm lake in Autumn or the whipping of the Winter winds straight from your imagination and onto the page like Destiny can.
Andrea, Children’s Book Illustrator – Andrea’s page was another that I started following shortly after my arrival to WP. She regularly posts illustrations that are sure to give you a laugh and brighten your day. She can take the most mundane, every day tasks and turn them into a source of instant amusement with ease. Sometimes, she even has a little “audience participation” and asks for titles, captions, etc., which only adds to the fun. Additionally, she has a store where you can buy her doodles, and is also trying to raise money for a very good cause.
Literary Evaluation Blog – Aasthawrites, to me, is a truly inspirational woman. She faces the challenges of disability, social anxiety, and public misconceptions with her head held high and a smile on her face, seeing us all as equally important in this world. She writes with an open mind, and more importantly an open heart, recognizing her fellow men and women not by their social standing, level of education, beliefs, or otherwise. She recognizes her fellow men and women for what they are: unique and very special individuals.
News Of The Night – Abbrah Kahdavver, even though he duped me for a spell (kidding!), is truly one very witty and funny individual. His page was another I started following shortly after arriving at WP, and I absolutely love his articles. The funniest part is in this day and age, some of them could actually be true! Abbrah, are you sure you are not a prophet? He was on a brief hiatus, but I am hoping by the time this is posted, he has returned to grace us with his one of a kind take on current events!
Fellow bloggers, there are so many of you that I have yet to feature, but this initiative is young, and there is no preset order. I am trying to divide my efforts between established and newer bloggers, to say thank you in my own humble way for all the support and inspiration you provide. This is a rich and thriving community, and I hope to be posting this links for a long time to come. π
Now, how about a few pictures, eh?

And yes, it is a big flippin’ cat π
