What is one word that describes you?

If I had to pick one word, I think it would be “complex”. I guess we could say most humans are, but I don’t know that I could categorize myself as any one singular word beyond that.

I’m not always happy, not always sad, not always angry, etc. Sometimes I am multiple things at the same time. Which again, I think can be said for the majority.

To pigeonhole anybody into one word is far too limiting. But, I am just one gorilla with an opinion and I could be wrong. 🤷‍♂️ I prefer to think beyond limits and see human beings as a wide open palette of stages and potential.

      Thanks, Liz. I think it’s a pretty narrow view to suggest that anyone could be any one thing. “Complex” was the closest thing to an all encompassing word I could muster.

        As much as I have known and understood you through your setting, I feel that you are successful to a great extent in conveying your thoughts to others and you also have the courage to say many things that we are thinking in our mind.
        I don’t find you complex. This is my thinking about you..This is not a matter of controversy, I just think about you that you understand things very easily and are also successful in understanding others

        I certainly do appreciate that, thank you. It’s very kind of you to say. I do my best to try and understand others and to learn from them as well.
        I just write what I feel, and I am fortunate that there are others who enjoy it or learn from it also. For that, I am extremely grateful.

    I completely resonate with your perspective on the complexity of human beings and the limitations of categorizing ourselves with just one word. Life is full of nuances, contradictions, and multifaceted emotions that can’t always be neatly summed up with a single descriptor.
    Like you mentioned, humans are dynamic beings, capable of experiencing a wide range of emotions and states of being simultaneously. We’re not static entities but rather ever-evolving individuals with layers upon layers of experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
    Attempting to pigeonhole ourselves or others into one word feels reductive and oversimplified. It fails to capture the depth and richness of our existence. We’re more than just happy, sad, angry, or any other singular emotion or trait. We’re a complex tapestry of emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and experiences that shape who we are and how we navigate the world.
    Embracing our complexity allows us to fully appreciate the beauty of our humanity and the endless possibilities that come with it. It’s about honoring the diversity and richness of our individual stories and recognizing that there’s beauty in the messiness of being human.
    So, here’s to seeing beyond limits, embracing our complexity, and celebrating the unique journey that is life. After all, it’s the variety and unpredictability that make it all so fascinating, isn’t it? 🌟

      Very well stated, and yes, it is fascinating indeed. The range of emotions and feelings a human can experience in even just one day can be extremely wide and varied. Never mind a lifetime.
