Thirty Freaking Minutes

That is all I saw for 30 freaking minutes last night when I clicked on anything.

And I was not having a problem with any other web pages at all. Just the same, I cleared everything, logged out and back in, etc.

Nada.

After about half an hour, I gave up and called it a night.

And, when I was on, Reader, just like yesterday, was not updating worth a damn.

I must admit that the last few days have made it somewhat unpleasant to be here.

It’s either the same old issues over and over, or a brand new, more annoying wrinkle, added to the list.

Every time I think the bar can’t possibly get lower…🙄😄

  1. I had a similar issue. Couldn’t even subscribe to any sites in the reader… kept freezing too.

    1. Yes, it was very, very sluggish as well even when it was running

      1. Must be WordPress updating or something because, like yourself, I have no problems with other sites.

      2. It’s definitely something on WordPress side. Way too many glitches not to be in my opinion

  2. I know the appearing of posts that didn’t show at the time of airing that were posted an hour prior for example of some I follow, but visible after a few refreshes of the page to then appear over an hour later and not originally when they actually aired, that was a new fault for me.

Before it happened to some blogs I follow, and before the other issue I ranted on my blog, it had happened to my own posts like that. I would be aware my post had aired. But it did not show on the reader until a little later.

    1. It’s completely ridiculous at this point. Tragic, or comical, I am unsure.

      1. I am unsure still since my last WP rant with the whole thing. Although the issues I ranted about have disappeared and stayed like that, the other that pees me off is when I have read a post on the reader and I click back to see all posts there, instead of continuing from that last post read, it takes me at the start of the reader and so I have to endlessly scroll back to where I were before, so I can carry on reading from where I last left off. 🙄

      2. Oh, I know. same here. That, I could at least live with if some of the other stuff would disappear. I wouldn’t like it, but I’d deal with it.

  3. So many fun WP antics 🙃
And everytime their platform acts up, they send me a 30% off coupon
    😆
Luckily I have all the fine people here to tell me what the real scoop is

    1. I wouldn’t accept if they gave me a 100% off coupon at the current moment LOL

  4. That frickin’ sucks. It would totally ruin my day. I hope you kept your cool. I never do in those situations 😂.

    1. I just gave up and went to bed.
What pissed me off was that Laura had posted our piece, and I couldn’t even view it until this morning.

      2. That was the one thing I was really disappointed in. All the work we put in and then I couldn’t even see it when it went live.

Ugghhhh yesssss…..so annoying! I was really getting in the WP groove and the way it was acting yesterday threw me right off.

    1. It really does. Just when you get a handle on things and start to enjoy it, they throw a curve ball and it kinda sours you.

I’ve had issues too. Where I get logged off. When I try to go to their HOME page to Log In, it won’t pull up WordPress. I can get into every other site, just not WP. They keep telling me to clear my cache, etc. But this is an issue on their end. They must be making a lot of updates.

    1. I heard awhile back that they are indeed making a lot of updates, and a lot of them seem to be creating more issues than they fix.

    1. Hi Philo,
No, I am not. I pay for a plan, which infuriates me even more. These days it feels like a massive waste of funds.

      1. I can understand the frustration.
As I told you earlier, many posts of the authors, whom I follow, never shows up!
        Some hidden agenda?

      2. I don’t know if it’s hidden agenda, or just plain laziness and carelessness. Either way it’s unacceptable to users, especially the ones who are paying most of all.

    1. I’m not the only one this was happening to so I don’t think it’s anything sinister. This platform is just a piece of trash

  8. There are a lot of changes going on all over cyberspace right now mostly related to human and child trafficking schemes deeply embedded in ALL major domains and social media platforms.

Part of this involves sorting fake bot or scam accounts from the real human operated ones as I have said over and over, there is a major global war going on in cyber space for control of the tech and info distro levers, here some day the citizenry will realize the facts on this matter were not what they thought they were…
