In The Desert

The following poem was written by our very own Daisy. It is a No Theme Thursday entry.

Due to a technical glitch and slight miscommunication, I wanted to post it to make sure it was seen and read. Please feel free to leave comments below for Daisy, or better yet, stop by her blog and say hi. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The desertโ€™s embrace, where shadows grow long,

A sunset ignites, painting skies with its song.
Joshua trees stretch, their silhouettes bold,
Guardians of twilight, in hues of red gold.

The horizon, ablaze, with colors that blend,
A canvas of twilight where day starts to end.
Soft whispers of sand in the cooling night air,

As the desert reveals its serene, timeless flair.

Each tree, a lone sentinel, stands proud and tall,
Their branches like fingers that reach for the sky.
In the hush of the dusk, where the light starts to fall,

The desertโ€™s vast beauty inspires
