I’ve undertaken a journey
Through the circles of Hell
My guide is named Dante
Seems to know them quite well
Said he’s been here before
And he’s seen one and all
Seems he once had arisen
After taking a fall
There’s a sign up ahead
Says your hope, leave it here
My throat feels so tight
I am choked by my fear
We descend ever further
Every level we passed
A parade so obscene
Each one worse than the last
As we got to the center
It was frigid and bare
All except for The Devil
God had frozen him there
As he gnawed on The Traitor
My eyes could watch no more
I feel down to my knees
On the hard, frigid floor
I looked up at my guide
To take leave of this place
What I saw here today
Ever etched on my face
