I Tried

As I saw this image stare at me

I tried to let my mind roam free

I tried to see a different place

I tried to see a different face

I tried to drift so far away

I tried to fly the Milky Way

I tried to find connection true

I tried to find out what you knew

I tried to learn of mysteries

I looked for curiosities

What I found was nothing

Just a perfect, empty space

And then it had occurred to me

Perhaps it’s not my time or place

ยฉThe Beginning At Last

Sometimes we’re not supposed to be somewhere, even if we think we should be.

Or perhaps we aren’t ready yet.

Perhaps we never will be.

Or perhaps…you’re already there and just don’t realize it yet.

Maybe so. This certainly reads as though that’s true. ๐Ÿ™‚
