Good day, and happy Sunday to all.
Mr. M is back with 6 picks for the week. A bit of this, a bit of that and everything else in between.
Hard and heavy? Slow and easy? Oh, hell…we run the gamut here, kids.
Hopefully, you enjoy at least a few of this week’s selections. Rock on! π€π€
Gerry Rafferty – “Baker Street”
Everyone talks about the iconic sax part, but hey…that guitar solo? Rippin’.
Beautiful Creatures – “Wasted”
“Talkin’ to you, why don’t you understand?”
“Take a shot, you can never, ever hurt me.”
One of my favorite songs that hardly anyone else knows.
Rod Stewart – “Tonight’s The Night”
The intro to this song is just plain smooth and sexy af.
Van Hagar & The Gang – “Celebrate Both Worlds”
A mash-up of “Celebration” and “Best of Both Worlds” that I absolutely love. Funnily enough, when I saw Sammy Hagar this past summer, they actually did sing “Celebration” in the middle of “Best of Both Worlds”. Fun stuff!
Led Zeppelin – “Ozone Baby”
People rag on this tune, but I’m sorry, I like it. Deal with it. π
Ugly Kid Joe – “Everything About You”
Come on, admit it…UKJ were pretty fun back in the day. π
That’s it for this week, folks! See y’all next Sunday! π€π€
