Today I received a very pleasant surprise in my mailbox.

When I went to fetch my mail, I found a package from our very own E-Dawg, Ernest Federspiel.

Within said package was a brand spanking new copy of his first published book, Ink Stained Love, with a personal message from the author himself!

To say that I am honored beyond belief is a huge understatement. Not only for the book, but also for the kind words Ernie wrote to me within.

I am so very proud and happy for you on this occasion, Ernie. I know how hard you labored, and to see you conquer all the frustrations and put the bow on this project is truly fantastic! I cannot wait to dive in and read it!

Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and offer my heartiest congratulations on this accomplishment. 👏👏👏

On a side note: I don’t want to steal Ernie’s thunder, but please be aware that I may be off the radar a bit longer. Unfortunately, at this time I am not feeling very well. I will do my best to stay in touch and reply as I’m able. Thank you for understanding!

        Thank you Liz for the great comment. I started in April? or there abouts and did this the hard way, learning every step of the process and hopefully passing the grade along this journey. Without the help of my Mentors I would still be stuffing the poems in a notebook lol.

        Yes, I think this was lingering for a bit, as I was fighting off low grade fevers a couple weeks back. I think it finally just blew the F up on me and started to spread.

        If possible, mask up where anybody might be driving a cloud of something by. I’ve learned to recognize several by odor, and doing that (I live outdoors) has improved my condition.
