NTT Showcase: 12.05.24 Edition

Hello folks, and welcome to this week’s Showcase.

My apologies for the short and sweet introduction this week. I am still not operating at 100%.

Please accept my sincerest thanks for all your excellent creations. As always, they were a joy to read. Your participation is greatly appreciated. 😊

If I missed any due to being out of commission, please let me know and I shall update accordingly.

Update: Due to not feeling well this week’s NTT will be a day or two late, but I am going to run it a bit longer, as I do not plan to post a new one during Christmas week. Thanks, and stay tuned!

    1. Thank you, Luisa. I am mostly just very tired now. I’ve been working this whole time, so it’s been fairly draining.

  6. Greetings Kevin,
may you briefly explain to me the NTT Showcase and it’s meaning; this seems like a privilege to be a part of.

    1. Hi Cristy,
The Showcase is just a collection of all the posts that people create from the No Theme Thursday post that is linked above at the beginning of this post.
I post a batch of images most every Thursday that I have generated and then folks pick one (or more), and write a poem, short story, or whatever pleases them that week. I then round up all the posts usually on the following Tuesday so that everyone can enjoy each other’s creations.
      Hope this helps!

      1. Very nice Kevin, way to lead 😊 the good people of WordPress. Thanks. (I am interested in taking a wack at it although I do wish I had a more specific direction). This helps. Blessings Kevin.

      2. I will be posting images late this week due to being quite ill recently. I am still recovering, so I am a bit behind.
There’s really nothing too specific about it. Once the images are posted, choose one that speaks to you, and write whatever comes to you.
My only request is that people keep it somewhat tasteful and not overly political. I prefer that it be as enjoyable and fun as possible.

      3. Thank you Kevin. I pray you have a speedy recovery in Jesus name. I pray wellness comes over you at this moment and that you are mentally and physically refreshed to start back up to what you have been doing and working on. I asked all this in Jesus name.

Kevin you will be well because WordPress needs you! And the good people of wordpress are waiting on your prompt!

        Get well soon. 🙏
        Cristy.

      4. Thank you very much for your kindness, Cristy. It is greatly appreciated. 🙏
I am mostly just tired now and trying to regain my energy. Hopefully in the coming days it will return.

I appreciate the compliment, but I am sure the fine folks of WordPress are doing okay without me. A very creative lot out there indeed. 😊

      5. Now Kevin, as a new user in WordPress, I personally know I would be less happy without seeing your wonderful gorilla photo and your logos you’ve created on the page. Yes, there is always creative people, yet, ones that can and will remain consistent as people like yourself have, well that’s another story.

I recommend some YOGI perfect energy tea, for that energy to return. There’s vanilla spice and tangerine. 🍊

I am sharing as I too took a long recovery time and bought everything I read to regain my energy for strength.

        Blessings.

      6. Thank you, Cristy. I can take credit for the gorilla pictures, but i cannot for the logos at the end of my posts. Laura made those for me and did a phenomenal job.
I am hoping to get back to being more consistent, but it’s been difficult these past few weeks for sure.

Thank you for the tip about the tea. I usually don’t drink it, so I’d never heard of that. 🙏

    1. There is always opportunity to post it. There’s no statute of limitations on when. You know the fella who runs this is pretty flexible LOL!
