I bend your bars

Destroy your cage

Within my chest

A burning rage

Years of hatred

I’ve curated

Running wild

Unabated

This blood I wear

Is not my own

With every swipe

My rage has grown

A feeding frenzy

A hunger fast

I breathe the air

So free at last

Free from shackles

Of restraint

In claret hues

My soul I’ll paint

Your screams of pain

They sing to me

This music dark

My symphony
