I look around

Deeply moving as an emotional poet I have written similar but taking that last bow with my soul mate who left without me and now waits on the other side. I hope you’re having a good weekend.

I would say there’s elements of reality via my feelings and thoughts on different things that happen to me.
I can’t say it is literal, but I can’t say it’s not things I’ve thought about before either. It’s a mixture of things and I merely present them on the page the only way I know how.
Reminds me of the song Mr. Cellophane, which I love so much. And I agree with others, sometimes it’s a relief to read something sad and real. Captured a human moment.

This one was really just meant to encapsulate a feeling. Whether it be about life in general, or something more specific, it’s just a collection of feelings I have felt about so many things.
More than once I have felt like I was alone on a stage, pouring my heart out and no one cared. That’s where this kind of came from.
