In a world full of illusions
I walk amongst all the collusion
They think I cannot see
What they create
While they may think
That they have fooled me
While they may think
That they control me
In ignorance they can’t see
My hand of fate
I am a god amongst the minions
I stand so high above the millions
All those insects crawling low
Amongst the waste
While they laugh in their delusion
They cannot see I’m the solution
The hemlock that one day
They’ll surely taste
They revel in their mindless moments
But one day soon they’ll surely know it
They will see the wicked folly
Of their ways
While they think that I am idle
I am growing in my power
And ever soon
I’ll be the ending of their days
Shaking the rust off a bit here. It’s been a long time since I have attempted writing anything creative, but for better or worse, here it is. Toe in the pool and all that. 😉
