I am the metronome of madness
I am the symphony of sadness
I am everything you fear
And in between
When you look into the mirror
You flail and drown within the furor
Beneath a tidal wave of terror
Soul unseen
While you’re crying for an ending
From within your heart is rending
A slalom towards depression
You careen
Within the vacuum, gasp for air
You spiral further, they don’t care
You reach the end and slowly realize
What it means
In the distance, music playing
While your dreams they take to slaying
Only you and I can hear
Your silent scream
