Now that my needless compulsion to sneak a song reference into most everything has been satisfied, I can move onto the question at hand.
How do I communicate online?
This one is actually going to be quick and easy. Outside of texting, this blog is pretty much it. When I was working, I was on Teams and Zoom a lot for meetings, mostly because our HQ was way off in another state.
Back in the good old days, I used to haunt forums and chats that were geared towards music.
Right now, I’m pretty much satisfied with WP being my main communication/creative outlet.
While I do text back and forth with my friends, most of them are close enough nearby that my preference is to actually meet up and hang out. There’s just something about face-to-face communication that can’t be replicated no matter what.
While I do think it’s awesome that there are so many ways for people to connect, especially for those with family/friends far away, current state, I am content to stay the course.
I am certainly open to other forms of communication should they serve me well at some point or circumstances dictate, but one day at a time and today, I am good with what I’ve got.
