So, I looked up the meaning of my name and according to several sources, it means “handsome”, “gentle”, “kind” and “beloved”.
Clearly, my mother drank heavily during pregnancy. 🤣
It’s Irish in origin and derives from the name Caoimhín.
From what I also read, in Hindi it is said to mean “comely” and “beloved”
In Germany, however, it is claimed to have a negative connotation.
According to one site: “Kevin is not a name – it’s a diagnosis!”
Okay, maybe mom was more on point than I originally thought. 😛
