Unstoppable.
Why do you bemoan the walls before you?
Do you not see your strength within?
Invincible.
Why are you laying there helpless?
Have you given up the will to fight?
Indomitable.
Don't you know you cannot be overcome?
Is the fire in your belly gone out?
Impenetrable.
Has your armor rusted and fallen away?
Has your shield been broken from too many blows?
Boundless.
You are absolute. You are driven.
Your spirit can only be broken if you let it.
Limitless.
You need no one else. You are more than enough.
Stand up, fight, and claim what is yours.
You deserve no less!
I'll be honest here. Don't know if this would be called a poem, a rant, a treatise or something in between. All I know is these words wanted to come out now.
So many of us settle for what we think life is willing to hand us instead of standing up and grabbing what is ours.
Our dreams, our hopes, our loves. We sometimes let outside forces dictate what we will and will not tolerate.
To Hell with that.
If you want something in this life, don't let anyone tell you it's foolish or merely a dream. Don't let the specter of doubt hold you down. Dig deep, slay it and move forward.
Ever forward.

“Has the fire in your belly gone out?” That line really stood out to me in your awesome poem, Kevin. Too often I dim my flame because others complain. Do it enough times and it will go out. We can’t have that!! Hope you keep shining that bright light of yours, sir ✨️
