Good day and Happy Valentine’s Day to all! I hope if you are spending the day with your special someone, it is the absolute best day ever!
Take an extra moment today to truly appreciate all the special folks in your life. Life is precious and so are those around us. Let them know it.
I am going to do something different starting this week. In addition to wandering through some images, I would like to wander through some of the blogs all around this WP multiverse we’ve got going here. Each week, I am going to link to a few blogs that motivate me, inspire me, make me think, or just plain make me laugh.
There are so many of you out there, and I’d like to take a chance each week to recognize some of you. As much as I enjoy writing, I find the reading and interaction with some of you just as, if not more, rewarding at times.
Without further ado, here are this week’s blogs!
Beatriz Esmer – Beatriz Esmer’s page is full of beautiful, thoughtful words that are sometimes melancholy, but ultimately inspiring. Her words are accompanied by her own magnificent drawings, which I find absolutely stunning.
My Life with Myelofibrosis – Chris, to put it simply, is one badass dude. He has stared the Grim Reaper in the face multiple times and come out with the win. I have told him before that I am not blowing smoke when I say that I truly appreciate his kindness and admire the hell out of him.
J.A. Decena – J.A. Decena takes the daily prompts that we all know and (sometimes) despise, and manages to make one hell of a short story out of each one I have read thus far. While there are many creative uses of the daily prompt out there, J.A.’s dedication to telling a story is admirable indeed.
Rebuilding Rob – Rob is a divorced dad of two sons, whom he loves and cherishes deeply. He is an advocate for divorced dads, and on his site you will find a wide variety of material, including, but not limited to, podcasts, useful links to valuable resources and info, and the occasional movie/series review. Plus, he’s just a really cool cat!
Mahalakshmi’s Writing to Liberate – Mahalakshmi is one of many positive people I have encountered here on WP. Her posts are uplifting, inspiring and insightful. Few people I have met express gratitude as freely as Mahalakshmi. And lest we forget, she is the brains behind Superhero Mosquito Monday. 😄
