Final exam… COMPLETE!
So, I ended up being way, way ahead of schedule, and finished the pre-exam 5 minutes in, and the instructor set me up for the final.
No, it’s not a diploma, not by any stretch, and there was no ceremony, but this program ran the gamut from very basic computer tasks, apps like Excel, Access, etc., up to some cybersecurity and network/programming stuff. Hell, I even built a computer, which is something I had never tried before.
I learned quite a bit, and there is not another course until April. However, they are running a different course in March, and said if I want to come in and work on my own stuff while they’re doing that, I can. I said why the hell not, so starting next week, I am going to start on an MS Pro course that they have available.
As a bonus, this program I just wrapped is fairly new, and they said I am the first one to complete it, so I felt kind of proud I must admit.
I also got to chat with an HR executive from a local business that helps fund the course, and I may look to see what they have for jobs. The instructors are pretty tight with him and his company, and he said if I apply, make sure I tell them, so they can tell him.
So, while it isn’t a degree or anything, I still consider it an accomplishment. I learned some new things, and that is never a poor decision.
To everyone that read along and wished me well, you have my sincerest gratitude. I truly means a ton to me. ๐
