Ch, ch, ch, changes

Daily writing prompt
What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?

Since I barely know what’s gonna happen in six minutes, six months is quite a stretch. Unfortunately, my crystal ball is slightly cracked, so I cannot predict everything with 100% accuracy, but I shall try my best.

Basically, the biggest and most immediate is going to be a new job. Probably a similar gig to what I was doing before, and then right to work on an express plan to GTFO ASAP to do something I enjoy.

Truthfully, what the job is, is irrelevant. It’s the lessons that I am bringing with me that matter.

I am not going to put anyone else’s concerns ahead of mine, and I am not breaking my back for nothing. I’m one hell of a worker, but I am not going to make myself miserable or put my health on the line again. I’ll see everyone in Hell before that scenario repeats.

I’ve got plenty of skills and know my stuff, so I am not worried. I’m going to have fun with it and dunk on the heads of every doubter in my way.

Line ’em up so I can shoot ’em down. ๐Ÿ˜‰

EDIT: I forgot to add Bowie, damn it! ๐Ÿ˜†

By the way, what AI do you use for your pictures. They are pretty cool. I may want to give it a try

    1. Life’s too short to fray your ends for something you don’t love. It took me a long time to figure that out, but it finally dawned on me lol

      1. Indeed! Itโ€™s a great thing we are able to acquaint ourselves with our deepest feelings! As I witness people not being able to dare themselves to do so and thatโ€™s awkwardly upsetting, as itโ€™s a gift to be able to understand what is good for us and if itโ€™s not, how pleasant it is to get rid of it!

      2. Sometimes it seems our conscious minds won’t always allow us to engage with those feelings, good or bad, and prefers to avoid them. Sometimes I think we need to hit the bottom of the barrel to finally realize that.

      3. How unfortunate ๐Ÿ˜ฆ perhaps thatโ€™s why meditation seems to be the oldest advice in the book

      4. Very possibly. I think humans are default set to negative. I have a theory that is stems from the built-in survival mechanisms men and women had from living in harsh environments. More a speculation than a theory, I guess one could say.
But, I think this is why meditation, breathing exercises, etc., are important – it is a conscious decision to get in touch with our subconscious and try to find our center.

  6. I feel like they already asked us this prompt in December. Anyway, I hope that you can find a much better job in your future. It seems like you know how to set boundaries and want to put yourself in your health first, which is the most important thing. I wish you the best of luck.
