After a restful sleep, Korv made his rounds through the village, and he was thoroughly delighted to interact with his neighbors and tell them how much they inspired him. Truly, he was surrounded by some fine, fine folk.
Korv also had the chance to meet some new neighbors, and he was greatly pleased to have this opportunity!
The first person he encountered was The Healer Ojaswi Gupta. Korv found her to be a very fascinating woman. Not only was she a healer, but she was also a writer and an actor heavily involved in theater. She, like Korv, was extremely interested in self-improvement, and made every possible effort to encourage her fellow villagers. She had very grand ambitions, and based on his conversations with her, Korv had no doubt she would achieve them!

Korv said his farewells, and as he was leaving, he met Phoebe the Mystical Scribe. She was a writer and poetess of the highest renown. It was said that her verses had the power to make the heavens cry and calm the mightiest of oceans. Korv had read her poetry, and he suspected the legends may very well be true. She was a good and very wise soul who was never at a loss for a kind word. It was this quality, which may have outshone even her beautiful words.

As much as Korv wanted to visit more of his fellow villagers this fine day, he had kept a promise to meet another dear friend.
His friend lived in another village, so Korv decided he should head out immediately, lest he keep her waiting too long. Once upon a time, Korv had met his friend during a particularly brutal campaign. She had befriended the barbarian when he was recovering from one of his many wounds. While he would heal physically, it was this lovely woman who had helped Korv heal his soul as well.

She had recently given birth to a beautiful child, and Korv had been bestowed the honorary title of uncle by the family. This filled Korv with a great feeling of pride and love. This title meant far more to him than any treasure earned on a hard-fought campaign. This title, it was priceless.
Korv and his friend caught up on recent events and reminisced about old times. He shared a meal and then spent time afterwards playing with the baby. She had grown much since Korv last saw her, and it filled his heart with great joy to see her smiling, crawling and attempting to stand. When it was bedtime for the child, Korv bid his goodbyes to the family and departed for home, his heart filled with glee and inspiration.
As he wrote in his journal, Korv could not help but reflect on his great fortune. He had many dear friends, and for the first time in many a moon, he knew he was indeed the luckiest man in the world.
