Who else but the one and only G.Q. Rilla himself?

Now, if you are looking for a more serious answer, I would probably say my grandmother.
She didn’t mince words, took no shit from anyone, and was an all around badass woman.
*Mic drop*

The best person ever! โค๏ธ
Also brother do you have any words from x, I can write about?
The one and only! Mine was, too. ๐
Alas, Iโm thinking, โughโฆto answer or not to answer?โ on this prompt ๐ (as always)
I was going to skip it, but I have a streak going. I might lose it when I return to work, but I want to keep it going for now for some stupid reason lol
Aw, that is the suckiest feeling. Wasting all that time and effort for nothing. It really wears you down.
Yeah, same here. I looked at the time, was gonna say fuck it, it’s almost 3AM and then I schlepped the prompt together real quick ๐
The whole job thing had my mind preoccupied most of the day. Talking to friends, family, etc.
Thatโs so exciting! Still so happy for you ๐ I understand how much of a relief it can be when you finally get some decent employment going. Hopefully itโs got you in a positive mindset, for sure. And now you know going in what you want, and what you will and wonโt tolerate from a job.
Thank you again. ๐๐
I just hope it doesn’t take away too much from my time here, although I don’t think it will since the schedule is far better than my previous.
The most exciting part is that they seem to be genuinely excited to have me. lol
And yes, a ton of lessons carried from the last job.
Thatโs so good! Whatโs your schedule going to be like?
I definitely admit, itโs hard to write on some days when Iโm busy at work. I try to make the time, but Iโm sure you know, balancing work, home, life, activities and responsibilities outside of writing and all that can be tough, but manageable. And if you have to skip some, then itโs ok.
That was the nice thing about being unemployed. I had a ton of time to devote to this and getting to know everyone.
It’s going to be a 12 hour, 2, 2, 3 rotation. So two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off. So, every other week I am only working two days.
A far cry better than five 16 hour shifts and 5 hour Saturdays and Sundays. ๐คฃ
And yes, it can get tough and I know I will likely miss some days, especially at first as I readjust.
Nice!! Sounds like youโll still have a decent amount of time to rest and recuperate and also be able to have free time. I miss my 12s, man. Iโm hoping to go on 10s soon!
It definitely sounds like a decent schedule compared to the previous one you were merely surviving! ๐ญ thankfully.
Iโm sure youโre excited to start a new chapter in your life.
Yes, that’s why I don’t think it will impact my leisure activities too much. Maybe for a few weeks while I get re acclimated to the whole thing, but otherwise not bad.
The previous schedule was just plain insanity. No other way to describe it.
Indeed. Leaving some stuff in the rearview mirror is definitely exciting.
Your grandmother sounds like an absolute legend!
It’s always refreshing to hear about strong and no-nonsense individuals who leave a lasting impression!
Your Grandmother sounds badass and I love that. Maybe that’s where you get it from, Kevin? What does the “G.Q” stand for in the Gorilla dude’s name? I like your new picture and like that your alter ego is the most confident person you know ๐ after your grandmother, of course xx
None other than the ermโฆman(?โฆ) himself! Looking great, but your sleeves are too short. Youโd better go back to Menโs Wearhouse.๐
G.Q. Rilla is the only one I’m trusting to win my case when I’m inevitably taken to court at some point lol ๐
I swear, there needs to be a movie made about G.Q. Rilla and how he conquered numerous galaxies / worlds!!
