More Is Never Enough

In the dark, my hate can hide

The pain I carry deep inside

I medicate with whiskey burns

Another pill, my stomach turns

I drink all night and sleep all day

I can’t survive another way

My throat it burns, the taste is rough

But more is never quite enough

    I hope that’s not how you are dealing with your relationship issue, Kevin. Get out in the sunshine, listen to fun music, build/repair something. Use your energy in a positive way, and positivity will come back to you, my friend. I’m old. I have learned the hard way.
