Asking a gorilla who just came off a very long stretch going way too far above and beyond what job he’d do for free is like asking a drowning man if he’d like a glass of water.

It’s called “work” instead of “fun” for a reason. 😄

Me laughing if someone asked me to work for free.

Hell, if anything, I’m gonna go the opposite way and get the most dollars for the least amount of effort. Doesn’t mean I’m not a hardass worker, but it does mean I ain’t going to be someone’s sucker again.

    I totally hear you on this one, Kevin. To have to work is NOT fun (for most of us, anyway) and there’s no way I’d do what I do for free. No! I want to be paid and as much as possible! Good on you. I’m picking up what you’re putting down xx

    If you’re good at something never do it for free, the Joker was correct. I learned it the hard way too.

    But if there’s a job I’d do for free, I’d probably be the one handing out ice creams or cold drinks for free.

      I’m certainly not talking volunteer work, etc. This was more a commentary on my views of employment going forward.

    I think the prompt isn’t fully explanatory. My take on it, which is probably different than others, is, “What would you do if you loved it so much you didn’t need/want to be paid?” I chose writing as my answer, but honestly, there are a ton of them. Volunteering at animal shelters, mentoring kids, gardening, the list goes on. 😊
