Which way did he go?

Daily writing prompt
What gives you direction in life?

I think we get directions from a lot of different places in life.

People, written words, our own experience, etc.

These things and many more can be sources of direction at various times in our lives.

I don’t think there’s one clear cut source, nor would I want there to be. The more tools in the box, the better.

  2. Absolutely! It’s like having a diverse toolbox for navigating life’s twists and turns. Each tool, whether it’s advice from a friend, wisdom from a book, or lessons from our own journey, adds depth to our direction-finding process. Variety truly is the spice of life!

  6. Our learning journey starts from the moment we are formed in the womb, and as soon as one is breathing, they are learning and adapting to the world in which they’ll arrive.
I marvel at watching documentaries on the life of some animals for instance in Australia, the Kangaroo has a baby no longer than one’s thumb and it comes from the birth canal and finds its way up and around to the front of the mother Kangaroo and into it’s pouch where it remains for up to 6 months until it has grown th a size when it can hop out and start to eat grass to feed itself.
Humans are similar in that they grow and adapt to life. Babies and the very young can grasp a pencil and draw, but as one reaches the teenager years and beyond, we allow our brains to interpret things differently. Learning never stops as long as one has life and a functioning brain they have the ability to learn new ways of adapting to whatever challenges come their way.
