Sometimes into the great unknown

Sometimes he stands for what is right

Sometimes alone he has to fight

Sometimes he walks a lonely path

Sometimes he faces nature’s wrath

Sometimes the battles are not won

Sometimes the battle’s never done

Sometimes he fights for fame and wealth

Sometimes he fights to find himself

Sometimes he looks death in the eye

Sometimes for honor he must die

Sometimes it’s only peace he seeks

Sometimes he finds his spirit weak

Sometimes he knows to walk away

Sometimes to fight another day
