Mary Jane and Sister Sarah rode right into town
They’re looking for the Dirty Dogg who cut their Daddy down
They followed him to Amarillo, riding day and night
He’s headed for the border and they’re itching for a fight
The Galley Boys got in the way, they’re six feet under now
Nothing’s gonna stop these girls from seeing to their vow
Percy the Provider, the perverted preacher man
He saw the girls a comin’ and the bastard up and ran
But the Preacher wasn’t fast enough and that’s when things got bad
Sarah’s blade, it slipped a little bit and now the Preacher’s sad
Mary Jane, she was a sippin’, lost her whiskey with a snort
When she saw just how the Preacher’s now a couple inches short
But the Preacher he talked up a storm, he knew where Dogg was hid
It’s about the only decent thing the Preacher ever did
The next day the sisters showed up in a place called Sleepy Town
They stood outside the whorehouse and they called the bastard down
Dogg cracked his neck and grimaced, ’cause the girls had come at last
There’s only one way this is ending, and it isn’t ending fast
He met them in the street, and he couldn’t even draw
No one outdrew the sisters, they’re the fastest that you saw
They shot Dogg in the knees and he hit the ground real fast
But he knew that those two bullets surely wouldn’t be the last
Next morning with the sunrise, they found Dogg tied to a tree
Dogg didn’t look too pretty as they cut his body free
Upon his chest they found a note, neatly written, and it read
“If you cross the Sisters Morgan, sure enough you’ll wind up dead.”
