The Father/The Son

The Father

This is your birthright.

Your destiny…

Why do you reject it?

Why do you deny what you are?

What you are meant to be?

From the day of your birth, your path was determined.

And yet, you walked…

No.

You ran away from it.

Foolish boy.

You dared to defy me.

No matter.

My agent shall retrieve you.

He will return you to me.

And we shall come to an..

Understanding.

The Son

You think I don’t see you for what you are.

My eyes and my mind are wide open.

You think I am naive.

You thought I would never find out.

You lied to me about Mother.

She did not die during my birth.

It was you.

You killed her.

She opposed you.

You and your dalliances with dark ways.

You became obsessed with power.

Nothing and no one could stop you.

Not even the woman you claimed to love.

Send your agent.

I eagerly await his arrival.

I shall greet him heartily.

And I shall show you his head.

Right before I take yours.

Until we meet again…

“Father.”

    1. Thank you, Ernie. I like to toss a curve ball if I can from time to time. Don’t wanna be too predictable ๐Ÿ˜„

      3. I sucked at those books. I’d always check what each choice led to before I fully committed… I was never able to finish one. ๐Ÿ˜œ

As you know I consider my writing disposable and can take or leave it at any given moment

      1. As you should not ever consider it so. Writing definitely not disposable but Iโ€™m not gonna go around with you on it like a daily prompt ๐Ÿ˜† just know itโ€™s always well appreciated ๐Ÿ˜Š
