In the cool Autumn rain
I go walking alone
To partake in the gifts
Mother Nature has shown
The rain on the leaves
Sound soothes me inside
Out here with yourself
There is nothing to hide
You can let your mind roam
Let it drift far away
It’s just you and the woods

When trees change their colours, streets are covered with leaves🍂 and there’s a crispness in the air….
Beautiful poem, Kevin. I noticed the first tree this morning with its green leaves beginning to change color. The orange and red are starting to peek through the green.
Indeed they are, my friend. A few trees here have even started dropping leaves. Getting close now. 🍂
