Great question! Let me get my calculator and tally sheet out.

Let’s see here…

Subtract the 5, carry the 1…

Multiply by 50…

And…

Wait. What? That can’t be right!

Let’s try that again.

Ah, I see now!

Subtract 7, carry the 3, divide by 4.44365…

Multiply by…

Pi?

What?

No!

I think my calculator just broke.

And the fabric of time, space and reality may be unraveling.

Sorry about that.

I guess I’ll just enjoy the ride?

So, anyhow…

The reason I altered this prompt is because, honestly, I couldn’t think of anything truly original to say, and I am pretty darn sure that I have answered this in some form or another at least two or three times.

I left it untouched for most of yesterday and this morning, but nothing came to me.

So, in the interest of writing what I want, and having a bit of fun, I just played around with it instead.

On that note, my best wishes to everyone for a great day, and even better week! Have fun with it!

    I have never answered one. I can see the daily prompt at the bottom of your posts but they are supposed to be somewhere in your own account/pages if I don’t misunderstand. I have to admit I don’t know where they are.

      They’re on the “My Home” section of your dashboard. Usually right above the bar graph that gives you the stats overview.

      It’s actually tolerable if one does alter them, I must admit lol
      I don’t need to do it all the time, but sometimes (including maybe tomorrow, which I may not touch at all, period) it takes the curse off.

    By the way, what was the original prompt question? I never look at them myself. (I only have so much time that I dedicate to blogging, and I made a decision when I started this blog to dedicate it to only creative writing (poetry or short stories) unlike my previous blog that was a mishmash of things and felt so disorganized (I had no understanding of categories or tags when I started) that I was unincentivized to write on it anymore. And as per the comment I just left on your other post, creative writing is the thing that I want to be doing.)
