For those who thought otherwise, the strike was a joke. Just to clarify. ๐Ÿ˜„

That said, WP Land still seems kinda quiet these days.

As much as I love pizza, I have come to the realization that I need to back off at least a bit. The fatigues are getting a little too tight around the waist. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Not completely, mind you. Just a bit. I have a reputation to uphold, after all.

Been drinking less coffee too. For some odd reason, have not had the taste for it lately. Never thought I’d type those words out. Maybe it’s just a phase, but I find it almost unappealing the last couple nights.

The absolute refusal of most businesses to fix their broken shit is almost impressive. Penny wise, pound foolish.

80 degrees, 60 degrees, 50 degrees. The high temps over the last three days. My sinuses beg you make up your mind. Thank you!

The sneeze came on before I could turn away and cover my face, ok? Don’t act like it’s never happened to you.

It feels like the leaves are falling very quickly this year. Maybe a result of all the fluctuating temperatures. I managed a couple shots, but opportunities have been scarce the past few days.

Twelve hour overnight shifts kind of suck when you’re averaging three to four hours sleep a day.

Potato chips are a balanced meal, right? Asking for a friend.

It’s a war, ok? We grab whatever rations we can.

On that note, best wishes for a fantastic weekend to all. Stay Frosty and Keep It Greasy.

  1. pretty picture of the tree

ever notice how we notice the trees becoming bare never knew see it for real? (Did that make sense?) I’ve got a large tree in front or my house, leaves fall constantly, but October comes and suddenly the shade is less and less and then early November, the limbs are almost completely gone and I always wonder “huh…when exactly did that happen? … it could be just me, but that’s how it always feels to me.

    1. Oh I totally get what you mean. It seems like they’re never going to fall and then next thing you know…nothing lol

  2. WP land does seem subdued these days. I had been thinking about that too. Haha as for the sneeze, that happens to most people. They just don’t admit to it. My only thought was that the sneeze didn’t cause the gun to go off, seeing as a finger was there on the trigger! I would be walking about like a zombie with 3-4 hours of sleep! 12 hour overnight shift on top of that would suck indeed and that’s putting it mildly. Hope you have a great weekend too.

    1. Thanks, Shweta. It’s definitely been a tiring one lol
As for the gun, the finger is alongside the trigger, not really quite on it. I know trigger discipline all too well. Plus, I made sure he had the safety on ๐Ÿ˜†
Hopefully it doesn’t remain quiet too too long!

      1. Haha. Glad to know that the safety was on. Yes, hopefully it won’t be quiet for too long. Keeping my fingers crossed. Can’t bear the thought of WP going that way!

  3. What did you do with our Mayor? What ransom are you looking to get? Cutting back on pizza AND coffee? This sounds like am imposter trying to take over the HQ! Mayor, if you see this know we are in full compliance with whatever ransom note requirements are needed to get you back! Have a great Saturday Kevin. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™

    1. It’s the Mayor’s tired old body telling him he needs to ease up. Just a bit though lol
The coffee one is weird because lately it just doesn’t agree with me.
The pizza is more conscious because I don’t feel like buying a new wardrobe to accommodate my newly acquired girth lmao
      Have a great day, E Dawg! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช

I was blown away on the coffee remark and kinda hung my shaking head, no coffee zone scares the shit out of me lol.
Pizza bone decline? These last two had me thinking a ransom was in order, I was ready to find Moon Weasel and have him lead the search for our favorite Gorilla.
Enjoy the day brother the best you can. ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Thank you, my brother. That was truly out of sight and totally unexpected. Words can’t express.
And fear not, I haven’t quit totally. Just easing off for a moment.

  4. 12 hour shifts I just could not do. I one time done that 2 days in a row when I did overtime. (This was years ago at a job I once did.) As much as I loved that job where I did this, I couldn’t do another one. There was no pressure though. They didn’t expect me to do overtime and then stay and do my full shift originally. But I did. I loved ut as well as the pay I needed. But not again.

I never thought I’d hear you say that about coffee. But it will be better for you in the long run.

    1. It’s odd because lately it just doesn’t agree with me at all. So, I just drink less or some days mone if it’s really disagreeable.

The 12s are hopefully not a permanent situation. It was a calculated risk to get a lot more money with an eye towards it not being forever.

As long as the potato chips are flavored, and you dip them in Ranch or ketchup, it’s a balanced meal.:) hang in there. Try tea instead of coffee:)

  6. I am just bewildered by the fact that you in America spell certain words with a Z when we use an S. color is missing a โ€˜uโ€™, colour and then you pronounce certain words in a completely different way. Emphasis on different syllables. At uni I studied chemistry and there was a girl from California who said โ€œA-lumi-numโ€ when we say โ€œAlu-mini-umโ€

Meanwhile, I feel like I can’t shut up! I honestly think everyone’s been out enjoying the unexpectedly nice weather. I still hear Robins singing here in PA, which suggests we may have a very mild winter. I won’t complain of course, but I’m taking advantage of the outdoors as much as I can. Wish there was something I could do to replenish your energy reserves, you need proper rest and food! For now, my thoughts are all I have to give. You’re in them, Kevin!

    1. Thank you, Daniel! Much appreciated. Yes, others have pointed out the weather in some areas and also that they recall it being a bit quiet this time of year for a spell anyhow, It is very likely a multitude of factors. In an ironic twist, I am actually behind due to my work schedule at the moment lol

  8. Iโ€™m feeling the same about coffee for some reason. I make the pot but I usually only drink half of it which is weird. Andย donโ€™t even think about potato chips because they are something that I absolutely love and Iโ€™m trying to cut down on salt. However, my cupboard always has a bag of tortilla chips because tortilla chips and salsa are a staple in my house ๐Ÿ˜€

  9. Overhaul the entire dang platform!! ๐Ÿ˜œ donโ€™t focus on who’s not here, focus on who’s still remaining!
Potato chips and especially the delusory hallucinogenic barbecue sauce that happens afterward are not considered balanced! Especially when the phone keeps deciding which message itโ€™d like to randomly send! ๐Ÿ˜ซ
Cutting down too. Whatโ€™s all this gym stuff Iโ€™m doing if Iโ€™m not cutting down just a bit, anyways? LOL.
Fall photos are lovely ๐Ÿฅฐ we need to do more grounding like that. It helps you feel better. โค๏ธ

Hey Brother, it sounds like you could use a break or maybe you’re just drowning in it all! But hold onโ€”did you just say youโ€™re cutting back on pizza? And whatโ€™s this blasphemy about not having a desire or taste for coffee? We need to get you checked out; somethingโ€™s clearly off and itโ€™s got us worried! Time to summon the WP Counseling Unit for some happy pills! In fact, send me your info and Iโ€™ll share some of mineโ€”I’ve got a stash since I havenโ€™t felt like taking them lately.

But in all seriousness, Hang in there and remain as strong as an ape can be.

  13. I don’t know how healthy potato chips but the fat and salt are addictive. Decades ago I was on a popcorn and 7up diet. Not healthy, but I did lose weight. The leaves turned and fell quickly here too, Kevin. We have a lot unclothed trees at the moment. Unfortunately, they can be naked until the snow dresses them for a bit.
