One Year Later…

Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

And this question is still dumb AF. ๐Ÿ˜„

Just as I said in last year’s reply, if I did break the law, unintentionally or otherwise, I sure as hell wouldn’t be advertising it here. Or anywhere else really. ๐Ÿ˜œ

So, instead, just like last time, I’ll toss out a quick update on “stuff” in general and close it out with a few tunes just because I can.

Since I couldn’t really continue with taking courses at school for the time being, I decided to take a few self-paced ones online. Those are much easier to accommodate, and I am also doing one through work that I can chase on the company dime, so I call that a W.

I mean, I guess work can feel like prison sometimes, eh?

I’ve managed to get two new certifications in the past two weeks, and by the time this goes live, I should be damned close on the third one. ๐Ÿคž

I may also be making another change, but I am gonna stay quiet on that one for the moment and see how it pans out. Cart in front of the horse and all that.

Other than that, I am just rolling along doing my thing as best I can!

And now, a few tunes to round out the post and call it a day.

Have a great one, folks!

Tonight there’s gonna be a jailbreak…

Last minute addendum!

I have seen all the comments on the What Drives Thee post, and I am absolutely stoked by the responses! Unfortunately, we are bracing for some rather foul weather here, and I have to work this evening, so I cannot reply right this moment. I want to be able to read and truly enjoy your thoughtful replies, so please bear with me for another day or so here! Thanks!

Yours in snow, sleet and ice storms,

  1. Is this an Arkham Asylum breakout? Did you get in trouble with Catwoman for that bank heist she planned in her last post? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ› ๐Ÿ’ฐ
Oh, and congrats on those certificates! โค๏ธ super proud of you! ๐Ÿ˜˜ ๐Ÿฅฐ fingers crossed too for the other thing ๐Ÿคž

I, for one, didnโ€™t answer this prompt last year, nor would I be this year. Too easy ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ and yesโ€ฆwork often feels like prison! ๐Ÿ™„

    1. I can’t comment on any asylum breakouts at this time.
      (I’m busy chasing escapees. ๐Ÿคซ) ๐Ÿ˜„
      What bank heist? ๐Ÿฆ‡

  2. Since I wasn’t around here last year, I’m seeing this for the first time. What a stupid ass question! I’ll try to find the time to address this.

Congrats on your certificates….well done! Fingers crossed! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

  3. Wrap up warm if the weather is going to be bad. I hope the weather doesn’t cause too much disruption.

    1. Thanks, Liz! Yes, it’s pretty rough here atm. Everything is pretty much totally iced over ๐Ÿ™„

Making driving and getting around a bit of a pain unfortunately.

  4. Brace yourself for this round of nastiness brother. Have shovel and scraper ready for overtime lol. Congrats on getting those paper bones to hang on the wall. Enjoy your rest.

    1. Oh, it’s freaking ridiculous right now, brother. Everywhere around here is under a shroud of ice. Roads are ice and totally rutted out. Freaking annoying to get around in.

Thanks, man! One more to go and I can get four in four weeks LOL!

    1. I’m shooting for four, actually. I think I can get it by the end of the week ๐Ÿ˜„

Thanks, Siri! I don’t know that “stealth” is my forte, though ๐Ÿคฃ

  7. I like many have indeed unintentionally broken the law by stealing, this has happened when I have gone through a checkout told the operator I had a heavy item she has acknowledged my comment but she didn’t add it to my purchases so I have taken something without paying for it unintentionally thus I have broken a law.

    1. I’m more apt to forget something and leave it behind at the register than I am to walk out with something. I’ve done that more times than I care to count lol

  9. It would be quite bad to advertise breaking the law ๐Ÿ˜‚. Good of you that you don’t tell us if you have. I think you haven’t, and if you did, you’d probably done something 90% of the population already has done.

    1. Yeah. I’m all set. I’m not going to tell anyone about the time I…er, nevermind. Moving right along then…

  12. We are expecting some very cold days here this week. Are you also, Kevin? Is it cold where you work?

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Hi Mary! Yes, we are in the midst of a cold snap too. Unfortunately, we had a snowstorm that turned to rain and then froze over, so everything is an icy, rutted out mess at the moment.
It’s not cold, no. Actually, we have multiple furnaces running to temper steel, so it usually stays pretty warm in winter and brutally hot in the summer.

      1. Well, that doesn’t sound like a place to be in the summer! I bet it makes you feel ill.

      2. It can get up to between 120 and 125 in the height of the summer. The last place I just worked before this was the same. It would routinely get up well over 100. It definitely can sap your energy for sure. It’s not for everyone!
