The mirror black
A shattered dream
Within your mind
A silent scream
You cast an eye
Back to the past
Life came apart
Unraveled fast
Eternal waste
Of hope that died
A million tears
Each one you cried
To better days
That dream is lost
It’s over now
Not worth the cost
Glass to the skin
The cut so deep
This darkened pain
Is all you’ll keep
It’s all you have
So hold it tight
In mirror black
You’ll find no light
