My ode to Summer Solstice: 🖕🖕

Anyone else recall the days when Max was just plain old Cinemax? Or, as it was often called, Skinemax? Late night movies with Playboy models flexing their “acting” muscles? Creative titles like Nocturnal Notions, Hard Ticket To Hawaii, Beast of the Passionate Bed, and Private Obsession? Classic. Love ya, Shannon Whirry. Your, um…”performance” was stellar.

2,024 pushups in one day? It’s happening. 💪😎

Getting your hand caught between two pieces of metal is indeed about as pleasant as it sounds.

Frozen pizza reviews? Hmmm…Maybe.

        After drinking Army coffee (black hot water) for so long, I can drink anything. At home, I only drink Puerto Rican coffee, mainly Yaucono and Crema, but I’m about to taste a new one called “Café El Mañanero” (Morning Coffee) from a local small farmer, so we’ll see.

        Here, I will drink most anything as well, but I gravitate towards Cafe Bustelo and believe it or not, Eight O’ Clock.

        Bustelo is pretty good. That’s my go-to coffee when I’m out of my PR coffee. I’ve never tried the Eight O’ Clock brand, but I can tell you that Black Rifle Coffee is not that great.

        Laura, Bustelo is my recommendation and you can even get the Keurig K-Cups. But if you want some good coffee then you can buy “Crema” on this website https://prcoffee.com. That’s where I get mine from.

        This is the one I’ve been drinking recently, been a bit of an espresso kick.
        I’m a fan of Bustelo, and do in fact have the kcups. 😊 I will certainly check out your recommendation, thank you! 🙏

        I tried those before and there are good but now I just use the Keurig adapter and add the ground coffee. I use the Keurig in the morning and the Moka Pot during the day.

        I have not tried Black Rifle, but likely won’t now. Unfortunate.
        Death Wish is good for a high octane brew.

        Eight O’ Clock is like that old reliable standby that you can always count on. They make a good dark espresso.

    I remember having a sleepover at a friend’s house when I was 10 or 11 and we snuck Skinemax after his mom had gone to bed. Only now do I realize how weird it is to watch softcore porn with your friend. 😅
