Happy Thursday, everyone! It’s NTT time yet again!

We’re coming off another stellar week of fantastic entries from one and all! My sincerest thanks to everyone for making this what it’s become. It’s because of you that it is so successful. 🙏

I’ve been trying my best to give everyone a wide variety of images to choose from, and I truly hope I’ve been able to accomplish that.

        “Addict” is such a harsh term. Let’s say I am an aficionado. 🤫😄
        I usually start the day with two to three cups of coffee, then before I head out for the day I knock back a 5 Hour Energy. Then it’s either soda or iced tea remainder of the day.

        Later in the day I will sometimes have a coffee, but by then my stomach has usually had it’s fill lol

        Haha..ok, if you’re an aficionado then I’m definitely an aficionado x10. I usually do 2-3 before I leave the house as well, and then some at work.
        I feel like when I was on nights it was worse, but I do stop by like 3am 😂
        How do you deal with 5 hour energy? I tried it once but I thought it was so gross, but it was years ago so maybe it’s improved? I thought it was just B vitamins though.
        I really want another cup of coffee now, but I gotta be up at 5am so not sure that’s conducive to a great nights sleep 😆

        I don’t mind the taste. I usually stick with the berry and sour apple ones. I’m also used to knocking back pre-workouts, some of which tasted like gasoline back in the day, and protein bars and powders that tasted like dirty chalk. To me, a 5 hour energy tastes like champagne. 😄
        Mostly B vitamins, but there is some caffeine in them too.

        Hahah yeah I can’t have the workout drinks sometimes, especially that C4 shit, gives me the jitters. There’s some that I like but not enough to drink them regularly. I just do coffee or espresso before a workout sometimes. I do like premier protein, I think their stuff is pretty good, no nasty aftertaste.
        I need to get back to the gym, man 😆 this week has really messed me up.

        I love C4 Sometimes I take the powder right from the scoop and then just chase it down with some water. 😄
        A lot of the PW drinks and protein bars and shakes are way better than they used to be. Back when I first started taking them, taste was not a concern for most companies. 😄😄

        I’ve never tried the C4 powder, only the single serve drink they have. It’s rated really high, so I’m like “dang why don’t I like this” lol maybe I need to give the powder a try.

        The nice thing about the powder is you can control how much you want to use. If you don’t want the full scoop, you can do half or whatever your tolerance is.

        I have been doing that for years. Screw Tik Tok. I was stupid before stupid became a media sensation 😄
        I’m still taking the water too. It just eliminates the whole mixing silliness.

        Well, it was more than a minute ago, and the powders were crap. lol

        There’s some weird workout powder my old manager used to use, but I forget the name of it. Maybe like insane something or other with a clown on it. She said it made her feel like her heart was gonna explode 😆 not sure i need that with all the anxiety I have bahah

        I don’t go crazy with it, I just don’t feel like going through the mixing thing sometimes. 😄
        I had one one time that I described as “I think I am seeing God right now”. Can’t remember the name of it to save my life though lol
        It tasted horrid, but damn it worked. It’s also off the market now. I wonder why…🙄

        Anything that actually works though is off the market. Also anything dangerous I suppose, but sometimes the regulation is too much.
        I used to take ephedrine or something or other. You needed a prescription for it. That shit worked, dammit. But I bet you can’t get it now. Now everyone wants to take ozempic, ugh. 😩

        Yeah there’s stupid regulations now because people can manufacture stuff with Sudafed and cough syrup. Can’t even buy a damn Sudafed without them being like “are you making meth?!”

        I agree! I thought about making my blog private for a hot second, but then I wouldn’t reach people who were truly interested, or maybe the post helped them in some way. And then of course, what’s the point?
        I agree, I try to interact with everyone who shows interest. It’s nice to know when people care and enjoy what you have to say 😊

        Yeah, if I made it private, I doubt I’d have stuck with it for long. I’d feel like I was talking into a vacuum.
        Going out and about to see what others post is part of the fun to me, and to actually interact with them is the icing on the cake. That’s why I love the NTT thing taking off, for example. Not because it’s my shit, but because people seem to enjoy it and a lot of folks interact, not just with me, but each other, which is really cool.

        I started the No Theme Thursday as a place to put the pics that didn’t fit a particular theme like sci-fi, etc.
        It was actually Brian from Iridium Spear that suggested it in the comments. He said why not throw it out as a challenge for the readers to put a story or poem to it. I did that, and then opened it up to basically say do whatever with it, poem, story, rant, etc., and it took off on it’s own from there. But the original idea came from Brian, so credit to him on that.

        Yeah, if I wanted to talk to myself I wouldn’t waste time typing it out lol

        I’m in New England, so March and April are always tricky. We’ve had blizzards in April and even frost in May.
        I guess that’s why they say don’t plant before Memorial Day. 😄

        We actually had a warmer than average winter with little snow overall, so I can’t bitch too much. Next week looks to be in the low 50s, which I am totally ok with. I prefer it cooler lol

        Hey, it’s no joke. I lost most of my tomatoes one year because I planted in the second week in May and then a frost the last week of the month took them out lol

        The biggest bitch is getting dug out afterwards.
        Driving if you happen to be in one too. I once had a 90 minute highway trip turn into a 4 hour slog. Couldn’t go faster than 20 mph and couldn’t see shit 😄

    I hope you don’t mind but I’ve tried to write a narrative from the pictures you posted. It’s not particularly any good but I enjoyed doing it 👍

    “The guitar strings were plucked as the guillotine’s blade reflected light on the cowboy’s brow. The thunderstorm brewing in the sky disrupted the lady’s restful day by the waterfall. As the eagle soared off beside her the scientist signed off another theory of his. The pretty lady furnished her hot rod as the elderly lady comforted her husband. Two men duelled for the love of a woman whilst another drowned his sorrows because of the woman he thought he loved. Others fought in a boxing ring whilst others took a cigarette whilst fighting for theirs and our freedom. Ducks enjoyed the water at an idyllic spot, whilst mother and daughter enjoyed serene settings too. A warlord and a soldier look totally different but one gets the other to do their bidding, but as everyone ages they grow to reflect, that regardless of creed or colour you can now sample every corner of god’s green earth. An 18th century maiden or a early 20th century couple, a queen or a quintessential lady, just like a tiger does, we forge or paths with the prowess of a blacksmith as prominent as a Mountie on his horse, tackling obstacles along the way of not working, being alone and being affluent and in the end we wonder how, why and what we are actually doing”👌
