When I find I’m feeling down
I take a drive into the town
To a diner oh-so quaint
Not fine dining, no it ain’t
Chicken’s good, the breakfast too
But what I tell you, this is true
The burger’s what I came here for
I order one, sometimes one more
The melted cheddar, golden love
The bacon from the gods above
The meat is 80/20 grind
A finer grind you’ll never find
The fries are crispy golden brown
No better fries yet I have found
A crunchy pickle on the plate
There’s not a single thing to hate
Serve it with an icy Coke
The bacon, just a hint of smoke
In this burger found pure bliss
There is no finer food than this
