All Too Easy

Daily writing prompt
Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?

This one’s a piece of cake.

I’d have started looking for a job the second I had that feeling in my gut that things were going to go terribly awry.

If I had just listened to my instincts and started looking to get the hell out of Dodge, I might not have been sick and miserable for about 3 straight months.

But at the end of the day, it all worked out for the better.

Lesson learned: If I ever get a feeling like that again, cut bait and GTFO ASAP.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ Very impressive, Kevin.

It is nice to know that you pay close attention to your intuition.

  5. Follow that gut feeling, that’s for sure. I always regret when I don’t follow it.

    1. For some reason a lot of us don’t. I think we fall on logic too much sometimes

I feel like one day I’m going to say this about my currently not looking for my next job. I keep starting to make it a top priority but then getting back into my usual routine. But I know I can do more.
