Honestly, not much. When you’re a creature of the night, it’s hard to connect with the rest of the world in general. Nature of the beast and all that.
I used to be involved with some non-profits back in the day, but not so much anymore.
That said, I have been known to rescue a cat here and there and take them to get fixed at the local shelter.
