      5. I disagree with that sentiment, as you well know. However, I can understand the feeling, most definitely.

  3. Although I am prepared for freezing weather, wearing the right clothes and layering up as needed, I am not a fan of the cold.

    1. I find I feel much better in the cold weather honestly. Pollen and heat are my mortal enemies.

      1. Yes. I suffer with hayfever. Although I had a few years where I wasn’t affected, until I had it bad again.

      2. I think that would make me even more mad. To be rid of it and then get it back? Ugh.

      3. I thought it was very strange when all of a sudden it stopped. And so I asked the nurse one year, smiling, and said have I finally grown out of it? Lol But she said it depends on the pollen. I said this is very strange another year of having nothing when usually I have symptoms from May to early September the latest. Early April sometimes starting early depending on weather.

      4. April and May are usually the worst for me, and the pollen is atrocious lately, so it’s not been a great time, so I know what you mean.

      5. I have hayfever symptoms during the time mentioned in previous comment. But my worst months are usually July and August. But I have known to get it as bad from mid-May.

      6. My biggest enemy those months is the heat and humidity. Thankfully my sinuses are usually not bad by then

  4. Being in Florida the 7th year now I actually miss at least a month of snow and wintry landscape. In Florida I have known only two states – we are either freezing or roasting. In between is the rainy season when you think of dashing out but then it starts to pour and you give up and stay indoors and when it gets too late for you to go out because it is already evening a bright golden sun is shining. It is then I miss all those snowy winter walks through woods with pines and firs silver with frost when I lived in Latvia. At least I have photos,
