Is there more to their existence?
Lives extinguished in an instant
In the cosmos where I reign
There is never doubt or pain
Yet, I watch them down below
What they’re doing they don’t know
They hurtle quick to their demise
This as sure as suns will rise
How I wish that I could show them
How I wish that I could warn them
If to steer them far away
Before they reach the end of days
But I cannot interfere
So I watch from way up here
I merely watch their days go by
A lone observer in the sky
