The demons sleeping deep inside

They’re the ones we try to hide

Pious, good, we claim to be

The demon’s dying to be free

You deny what is yourself

You try to keep them on the shelf

Afraid to say just what you are

Afraid of judgement from afar

Why do you hang your head in shame?

There is no wrong, there is no blame

It’s part of our duality

You have your demons, just like me
