A friend is someone who sticks by you, doesn’t judge you, and doesn’t get all bent out of shape if you don’t call/text them immediately after they contact you.
They may also offer to buy a round from time to time. If they do, that’s pretty cool as well.

I can’t think of a specific thing right now, probably because I’m not feeling great, but really, any time they’ve defended me when I wasn’t around to defend myself. If someone is willing to stand up for you when you’re not around, it says a lot about their character to me.
