Good day to all, and welcome to this week’s edition of NTT. After giving it some thought, I have decided that after this week, it’s time for a break.
The main reason for this is that, if I am being completely honest, I have been struggling to come up with what I feel is fresh content. For the past couple weeks, I feel like I keep going back to the same wells far too often. The biggest indicator to me is the length of time it is taking me to complete these posts.
Typically, I start the next NTT post the day the newest one is live, and I usually have it mostly ready to go within 2 to 3 days max. The past few, it has taken me the entire week, working on it daily for hours at a time. As I type this, I have just finally finished making the pics for this week.
Please don’t misunderstand – I very much enjoy this weekly event, and I am not complaining about it one bit. But the reality is that at this moment, it is taking time away from other things I’d like to write, as well as things I would like to do offline that don’t involve blogging.
More importantly, I do not want it to reach the point where I feel like I am phoning it in, or even worse, it is becoming boring for all you fine folks out there. You put your hearts and souls into the entries you write every week, and you deserve the same quality from me. I have always done my best to deliver that, and I feel if I don’t take a slight break, that quality will begin to suffer.
All that being said, I am feeling like a 1 to 2 week break is a good opportunity to recharge the batteries and get the creative juices flowing again.
I hope you all understand, and please accept my sincerest thanks for your ongoing support. It truly means the world to me, and I hope you will all return when we resume our regularly scheduled programming in a week or two.
