Every login is a new adventure, I swear. So today, when trying to comment on posts, I keep getting told I am not allowed to. Yesterday, the “like” button was not working for me in Reader most of the morning. And while trying to write/edit posts, it is slower than molasses in January for some unknown reason.
To say it’s annoying is a massive understatement.
To that I say…”Bah.”
I got an interesting thing going on. I work on a desktop PC and beside me on a table is my laptop which I keep for entertainment, So I work while music is playing or some game show is going on. I like to have something going on beside me. My desktop can get feisty I guess I just don’t know why. So I was going to cash out on Microsoft Rewards for an Amazon gift card only the PC kept telling me I could not be verified, SIGH So this morning I though what if I log on to that site on my laptop, I did and when I logged into Microsoft Rewards I was quickly verified and my gift card was sent to me which I picked up in my email on my desktop PC. Sort of like going through life swinging on a swing,
Oh, how annoying. I hate it when WordPress poops out on me as well. Every time I visit my profile page to change something, I have to login again. That’s annoying. I’ve set it to remember me for 30 days, but that’s bullshit.
I’ve stopped leaving comments as well on people’s blogs. I leave them through the reader instead. That has so far been bug free for me.
Very annoying. Not sure what it’ll conjure up next, but at least your “i” key is working today!
They are making a lot of updates. They’ve moved everything back to the top, ie notifications, Reader, etc. which was where it should be. A lot of money wasted making unnecessary changes to go back to how it was. Seems to me they are still updating. I’ve had issues too. Sigh… just have to wait it out.
Yeah, I’ve had some of that happening too. Sometimes I feel like the WordPress programmers are just looking for ways to keep their jobs. If they ran out of things to do they might get let go.
Things are going ok for me since that time they weren’t. But I have not long as you know been fed up with them playing about with the bell, only to find they put it back where it used to be, which I glad. But point is, that’s where it should have been left instead of playing about with it and wasting time, to only pit it back.
They did another change since and decided to change the colour of text that appears across the very top of my dashboard. So with that colour combination and my chosen dashboard theme that hasn’t changed for years made me feel sick, that I had to change my dashboard theme colour to compliment it. 🤦♂️
Imagine if me as a cleaner just cleaned one spot all week and nothing else and get paid for it. There would be complaints where everwhere else was dirty and asking me why I am just staying in one spot cleaning over and over and yet still get paid for it.
The thing I really hate about working on my desktop is that I need to press the “like” button twice. 🤦♂️
The other day, I could not access my account at all. Thank goodness, I wasn’t posting anything important that day.
Ugh! That would drive me totally insane. That happened to another blogger I follow recently too. How agitating!

Perhaps it’s all the spam likers running through and liking comments continuously that slows everything down, honestly with the pages of notifications i get, wouldn’t be surprised if that overloads some stuff and makes it go haywire 🤬
Not surprising since they just did another update. There’s always something going on to screw things up just as you start getting used to the previous update… Sigh
The WP tech is staging a dramatic protest, demanding attention before granting you any online joy. It’s like your devices have decided to become grumpy old curmudgeons. Bah indeed! 😭😭
That happens for me from time to time. Will it happen today, since it’s happening for you…only time will tell.
People dont fully understand the current migrations going on in cyberspace even after seeing the croudstrike patch failure that we all just witnessed.
Not many understand the concepts of cold cyber war operations, executive orders, and certain war powers that HAVE NOT BEEN PUBLICLY Announced! In time we will come to understand the reason we all are subjected to this failing buggy internet that have been severely corrupted by the various bad “ACTORS” around the globe
GOOD VS EVIL THAT WHATS HAPPENING HERE!
It’s not the updates and migrations that bother me. I get there’s a purpose.
It’s the fact that layout keeps changing without nary a heads up. And some of these problems have been around for ages and not been fixed through myriad updates.

Add to that type of nonsense, my carrier was working in the neighborhood on Monday and Tuesday. Working online was a total waste of time.
I’ve been lucky I guess as mine seems to be ok. Maybe they are mad at you for not sharing any pizza bones with them. Just funning with ya bro, Hope it gets better quick.

That exactly sounds like WordPress 😂I get so frustrated when it starts acting up while I am writing a draft. However, it was a very annoying experience. I haven’t experienced that “yet”.
There’s always something happening with WP, it’s so exhausting. It’s super slow for me as well when editing posts. And I know it’s a WP issue because everything else is loading fine.
Damn Kevin, this is got to be frustrating!
I feel incredibly lucky because buying large I’ve never really had any issues with WordPress. :::knocks on wood:::
