You say you are forever down
You wear your sadness like a crown
A badge of honor, wear it proud
You speak of things you’re not allowed
You question all your worthiness
You treat yourself as if you’re less
I say to you right here this day
That you must learn a better way
This battle, it is never through
From ashes you must rise anew!
Become the phoenix you desire
Rise up within a plume of fire!
Light up the sky with fiery wings
As you fly on to greater things!
As you blaze across the skies
See through the embers of your eyes!
Rise up right now, rise up today
And soar until your final day!

Look within.
