Not Clowning Around

They said that I was funny

That I was the perfect clown

But I must confess that lately

All I really do is frown

The trapezist stole my lunch bag

And the ringmaster’s a dick

I want to stuff him in a cannon

And fucking launch that little prick

He withheld my freaking paycheck

‘Cause he said that I was late

But you know, I didn’t tell him

I took his wife out on a date

I saw her at the stables

And she seemed to have the blues

But you should have seen her smile

When she looked down at my shoes

I told the prick that I was quitting

I ditched my polka-dotted pants

Hopped a plane and now I’m miming

On the streets of Paris, France

I have found I’m really happy

Happy here in my new life

And in case I didn’t mention

When I left…

I took his wife πŸ˜‰
