My initial answer would be to say the military, but truth be told, there are a lot of admirable professions.
Police, Firefighters, healthcare workers, teachers and so many more.
Honestly, it’s often not even the profession as much as the person.
Do they do their job to the best of their ability? Do they do it for the right reasons? Do they treat their fellow humans with dignity and respect?
I don’t care if you’re a short order cook at the local greasy spoon or a Marine sweating your ass off in some godforsaken corner of the world – A good person is a good person.
And that is something I find admirable.
