I see the joys

I see the crimes

I see it all

Pass ‘fore my eyes

I hear the laughter

Hear the cries

I see the moments

Most forget

I see the things

Not happened yet

I’ve seen the wars

The victories

I’ve seen the slaves

I’ve seen the free

I’ve seen fine men

As they’re struck down

Seen evil men

Procure the crown

I’ve seen the best

And worst of man

If they but learn

While they still can
